Bones Films BW (35mm) - Experimental X-Ray Film (100-3200ISO) 24exp
Do you have a love for Lomo film? Does respooled x-ray film pique your interest? Well look no further. Bones BW is a black and white film made from X-Ray plates, cut and perforated to be used in 35mm or 120 film cameras. Due to its high silver content, it can be used between ISO 100 and 3200!
We have a limited quantity of this Bones Films Experimental B+W film!
This film is an Orthochromatic B+W film which can be exposed between 100-3200ISO, with varying developing times. This film produces some amazing ethereal images, it can be wild, unpredictable and varying, perfect for experimentation with light, pattern and texture! The film can produce a level of base fog naturally as it is UV sensitive, best to use a UV filter if this is undesirable.
The film is thicker than conventional 120 and 135 films. Therefore, a slight resistance when advancing the frame may occur. The base of the film is PET and, due to this, there is the possibility of optical conduction. To avoid this problem, the film has a leader tip made from already processed negatives. For best results when placing the film in the camera, we recommend pulling the leader tip until it meets the adhesive and then placing the film in the camera.
Developing guide attached in the final image for reference. We strongly recommend using Dektol for development, if using Rodinal shoot below 400ISO as the film has a tendency to develop a base fog with this developer over 400ISO.
